Job Description

This role is responsible for driving growth in the Nordics for Philips' Acute Care Informatics portfolio, including IntelliSpace Critical Care & Anesthesia, MDIP, IBE, and CIM. The specialist will help customers understand the value of solutions, support sales activities, and translate business strategies into the local market. Key responsibilities include being a portfolio expert, understanding competitive positioning, identifying opportunities, accurate forecasting, and collaborating with internal and external sales channels to deliver comprehensive acute care solutions.
Must have:

  • Drive and support sales activities towards new and existing customers
  • Play a critical role in ensuring business unit strategies are translated into the local market
  • Be the portfolio expert for the solutions
  • Communicate the wider Philips Acute Care informatics portfolio and its clinical value proposition
  • Understand and address competitive positioning and marketing strategy
  • Set local zone strategy to target new customers
  • Support in the tender strategy and quotation process
  • Identify standalone opportunities by providing insights into possible leads
  • Prepare and deliver accurate business forecasting on a monthly basis
  • Partner with internal and external sales channels on co-selling opportunities
  • Collaborate with zone sales leaders and regional category leaders
  • BSc degree in healthcare management, IT, or related fields
  • Fluent in English and Swedish
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of time within the allocated zone
  • Experience in configuring and selling enterprise solutions to hospitals
  • Experience in healthcare IT sales and/or business development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent influencing and networking capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively
  • Customer-oriented and focused on achieving defined objectives and results
Good to have:
  • Additional Nordic languages
  • Acute Care clinical experience and knowledge of medical devices

Job Details

Be responsible for driving growth in the Nordics for our Acute Care Informatics portfolio, i.e. IntelliSpace Critical Care & Anesthesia, MDIP, IBE and CIM. You will help prospective customers realize the value of our solutions, drive and support sales activities towards new and existing customers, and play a critical role in ensuring business unit strategies are translated into the local market.

Your role:

  • Being the portfolio expert for the solutions and communicating the wider Philips Acute Care informatics portfolio and its clinical value proposition to customers and channel partners.
  • Understanding and addressing competitive positioning and marketing strategy, setting local zone strategy to target new customers and support in the tender strategy and quotation process.
  • Identifying standalone opportunities by providing insights into possible leads resulting from working with third-party vendors, trade shows, local conferences, and other industry events.
  • Preparing and delivering accurate business forecasting on a monthly basis via accurate lead and opportunity management.
  • Partnering with internal and external sales channels on co-selling opportunities to bring the full value of our acute care portfolio to broader enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with zone sales leaders and regional category leaders to ensure relevant EI BU/product-specific sales initiatives are effectively deployed in the field with our customers and roadmap needs are effectively communicated and understood.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

  • You have a BSc degree in healthcare management, IT, or related fields.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish. Additional Nordic languages would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of time within the allocated zone.
  • Acute Care clinical experience and knowledge of medical devices preferred.
  • Experience in configuring and selling enterprise solutions to hospitals that span across (parts of) care pathways and experience in healthcare IT sales and/or business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams. As well as, excellent influencing and networking capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to translate market and customer insights into integral solution offerings.
  • Self-driven with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across different functions.
  • You are customer-oriented and focused on achieving defined objectives and results.
