Job Description

As a subject matter expert in pre-sales and pursuit activities, this role supports Account Managers and Solution Sales, focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for Wealth and Investment Banking propositions within a defined territory. The specialist will lead deals, proactively identify pipeline opportunities, develop sales strategies, share Refinitiv thought leadership, and deliver customer demonstrations, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive gross sales and revenue.

Must Have:
  • Structure, negotiate and close deals
  • Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, governed by the Account Managers
  • Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within their territory
  • Provide insights and share Refinitiv thought leadership on their proposition with customers
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
  • Expert understanding of financial market
  • Knowledge of relevant market
  • Strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
  • World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”
  • Strong sales ‘closer’
  • Significant Product and Workflow Expertise (e.g. knowledge of financial modeling, Excel, MS Office); knowledge of trading floor tech / data apps
  • Minimum 3 years experience selling/trading financial instruments/Marketdata in the Latam Market (Ex Brazil) to corporates or institutional clients
  • Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
  • Proficient in the use of financial information desktops (BBG, Eikon, Infosel, CMA)
  • Native Spanish language proficiency
  • Fluent English language proficiency

Proposition Sales Workflows - Wealth and Investment Banking

Position Summary

As a subject matter expert to pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will act in of support Account Managers and Solution Sales focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for proposition in each territory with both existing and new customers. You will lead on deals aligned to the Wealth and Investment Banking Propositions and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Structure, negotiate and close deals
  • Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, governed by the Account Managers
  • Develop the sales strategy for their proposition within their territory
  • Provide insights and share Refinitiv thought leadership on their proposition with customers
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • market understanding in the IB and Wealth including a) expert understanding of financial market b) knowledge of relevant market c) strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
  • World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”
  • Strong sales ‘closer’
  • Significant Product and Workflow Expertise (e.g. knowledge of financial modeling, Excel, MS Office); knowledge of trading floor tech / data apps

  • Experience in selling/implementing technology is strongly desired
  • Degree in finance or economics or Industry qualifications preferred: CFA, Master’s in finance, MBA
  • Spanish as Native language and Fluent in English
