We are currently searching for a Team Lead, Accounting Operation on the Revenue Accounting team located in Bangalore, India. The primary goal of the Team Lead, Accounting Operation will be to support the Revenue Accounting functions and in the timely review of sales contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition. In addition, he/she will need to learn and understand Flexera’s products and pricing strategies and how they impact revenue recognition under ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in accurate revenue reporting under ASC 606
• Should be able to handle RevRecDesk requests
• Should be able to handle complex Contract Review
• Should be able to support & clarify team's queries
• Set up DPA workbook & assign to team on a weekly basis and review calculator saved by the team
• Should be able to identify variances for ARR to OEA recs for all SOLAs & fix the error appropriately
• Should be able to handle complex OEA fix request
• Should be able to perform ARR Reporting (ARR Rollforward) for complex SOLA
• Should be able to train new Joinee & able to clarify doubts of other team members
• Support in billing team to ensure accurate invoicing and it's related activities
• Creating and performing ad hoc queries and analyses
• Provide support for external audits
• Special projects as required by management

Qualifications & Expertise required

• CPA/CA/CMA Intermediate or MBA in Finance
• 5 – 7 years of experience is required
• Should have strong team management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel required
• Strong email writing skill is must
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Exceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce.com a plus
• Ability to break down complex issues and tailor communication style to a range of audiences, including non-accountants, and to clearly articulate ideas, solutions and conclusions to stakeholders
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively and work well colleagues across businesses and geographies in a fast-paced environment
