Job description

As a security agent at the American Embassy in Brussels, your tasks are very varied:

• Observe and report suspicious matters on the embassy grounds
• Guard residences of American diplomats
• Screen and guide visitors at the consulate
• Secure high-level events such as 4th of July
• Access control to restrict access to authorized personnel or visitors and vehicles
• Screening of incoming mail and deliveries
• Operating metal detectors, handheld metal detectors, electronic hydraulic barriers, and special surveillance equipment

Job requirements

Required:

• You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good knowledge of English

Additional information

• Salary €17.82 - €18.76
• Premiums: +12.5% (8 PM – 10 PM), +18% for Saturdays, +23% for Sundays, +22.5% for night shifts and +30% for public holidays
• Bound premium up to €1.50 per hour
• Meal vouchers: €4.19 per 6.92 hours (depending on the function)
