Job Description

Thales Cyber Solutions provides a broad range of cybersecurity services, including Managed Detection & Response, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, and Exposure Management. This role, within the CSOC France Service Delivery Manager team, is for a SOC and Cybersecurity Coordinator for a major client. The coordinator will lead continuous improvement, global cyber watch, and ensure service quality and contractual commitments. They will orchestrate international analyst teams, manage daily meetings, provide technical expertise, and act as the primary technical point of contact for client CSIRT teams. The role involves reporting, technical steering, and ensuring service alignment with contractual agreements, while also providing feedback for Thales' internal improvement.
Must Have:
  • Pilot continuous improvement and global cyber watch for the service.
  • Orchestrate Thales analyst teams across France and multiple continents (Asia, North America, North Africa).
  • Animate daily meetings with international Thales analysts.
  • Guarantee delivery quality.
  • Provide technical expertise and experience for operational quality.
  • Act as the unique technical point of contact for client CSIRT teams.
  • Ensure expected performance of Cyber production services.
  • Realize periodic reports for clients.
  • Lead technical continuous improvement through operational and technical meetings.
  • Ensure service adequacy to agreed contractual content.
  • Provide feedback, improvement recommendations, and value-added insights to clients.
  • Provide feedback on the service to Thales and the CSOC center for Thales' improvement.
  • Hold a higher education degree (Engineer or equivalent Bac +5).
  • Have at least 5 years of technical experience within a SOC.
  • Have experience managing a Cybersecurity team.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of cybersecurity issues.
  • Have good knowledge of cybersecurity solutions (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, Nessus, Security Center, Tenable.IO, ThreatQuotient, network probes, EDR Crowdstrike, Resilient) and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Be capable of intervening on transversal subjects, mastering risks, and adapting to unforeseen events and emergencies.
  • Demonstrate pedagogical skills to best support the teams.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, structured and targeted communication.
  • Be rigorous, autonomous, a team player, curious, and able to share knowledge.
  • Be aware of information protection and demonstrate discretion.
  • Have a proficient level of English (written and oral) for an international context.

Your daily life

Within Thales, our Thales Cyber Solutions teams provide a wide range of cybersecurity services, from cyber governance to advanced technical expertise, including detection and response services delivered from our SOCs, as well as forensics analysis and threat intelligence. Our clients are large groups, OIVs (Operators of Vital Importance), OSEs (Operators of Essential Services) needing to protect critical IT or OT systems, or governmental organizations.

WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER

You will join Thales' CSOC France within a team responsible for providing Managed Detection & Response, Digital Forensics & Incident Response, and Exposure Management services.

Integrated into the SOC's "Service Delivery Manager" team, you will act as a SOC and Cybersecurity Coordinator for one of our major clients.

In this context, your main missions consist of:

  • Leading continuous improvement and global cyber watch within the framework of the service provided and throughout the contract:
  • Orchestration of Thales analyst teams for the contract, spread across France and several continents (ASIA, North America, North Africa)
  • Facilitation of daily meetings with international Thales analysts (as the service covers distinct geographical areas, these meetings must be held in the morning and late afternoon)
  • Ensuring delivery quality
  • Expertise, technical experience for the benefit of operational quality;
  • Unique technical point of contact for client CSIRT teams
  • Expected performance of Cyber production services
  • Meeting contractual commitments related to continuous improvement and monitoring activities
  • Producing periodic reports for clients
  • Technical steering focused on continuous improvement through operational and technical meetings of various frequencies (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
  • Ensuring the service's adequacy to the precisely agreed contractual content with clients
  • Feedback, recommendations for improvement, or any other area enabling value creation and client enrichment
  • Feedback on the service to Thales and the CSOC center as part of Thales' improvement

The position is based in La Défense, and travel to our Elancourt site is expected.

WHO ARE YOU?

Coming from higher education (Engineer or equivalent Bac +5), you already have at least 5 years of technical experience within a SOC. You have already managed a Cybersecurity team and have an excellent understanding of the issues related to this field of activity.

You have good knowledge of Cybersecurity solution(s) (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, Nessus, Security Center, Tenable.IO, ThreatQuotient, network probes, EDR Crowdstrike, Resilient...) and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

You are capable of intervening on transversal subjects while mastering risks and adapting to unforeseen events and emergencies. You demonstrate pedagogical skills to best support the teams.

Beyond your professional skills, you are recognized for your interpersonal ease, your structured and targeted communication allowing you to interface with highly demanding clients. You are rigorous, autonomous, enjoy teamwork, are curious to learn more, and are able to share your knowledge.
