Job Summary

This role is for an RF Principal Architect within Motorola Solutions' RF Site Hardware team, focusing on developing and maintaining sophisticated and highly reliable communications infrastructure products. The architect will be responsible for developing, designing, modeling, and testing radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems, working within multi-disciplinary teams to architect integrated product designs for mission-critical and commercial communication products.

Must Have

  • Develops, designs, models, and tests radio frequency transmitters and receiver circuit subsystems.
  • Works on multi-disciplinary teams responsible for integrated product designs.
  • Architects products and works with multiple teams.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Hardware.
  • Ten or more years of experience designing and architecting radio hardware products.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Department Overview

The RF Site Hardware team is an organization within the Products and Solutions group of Motorola Solutions. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated and highly reliable communications, infrastructure, and networking products for Mission Critical and commercial communication products across a variety of global markets and standards. The RF Site Hardware Engineering team develops state of the art Digital, RF, Mechanical, and Power Supply solutions to meet our customer’s needs.

Basic Requirements
