The Senior Analyst will be part of the Sport Data and Analytics (DnA) team and will help us scaling up our analytics capabilities for the NHL and UFC Studios. Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and game developers to make sure that the games studios will have the data and the dashboards they need. This role will report to the Analytics Manager.
Responsibilities
Design, build, improve, and maintain data flow from the different games into our analytics tools.
Working closely with our Data developers to ensure that the data is available, modeled and optimized for use.
Working with the analytics team to understand the data needed for the various analysis and translate business requirements to technical specifications.
Working with game studio, IT teams, Central EA teams and 3rd parties to make sure data is implemented as per design and that data flows with minimal data issues
Debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting BI and Data solutions
Building reports, dashboards and visualizations
Help the analytics team to enrich the data by proactively suggest modeling and aggregations
Deliver end to end data solution or analytics project
Qualifications
Technical skills
Work experience developing using Python
Working with very big volumes of streaming data
Expertise with SQL, including stored procedures and UDFs
Experience with develop BI reports using BI tools (PowerBI / Looker / Tableau)
Experience with building cloud infra – Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
Experience working with Snowflake as analytics layer
Experience with Airflow
Familiarity with tasks management tools (Jira / Trello / Monday / Asana)

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
