Activision is seeking a Senior Build Engineer to contribute to the development of a new IP. Responsibilities include managing build servers and systems, optimizing workflows with developers and QA, developing and managing build applications across multiple platforms, integrating build systems with common tools, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, ensuring developer efficiency, and documenting build systems. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience with build systems and pipeline tools, strong programming skills (Python, bash, C++), experience with CI/CD pipelines, and excellent communication skills. The role involves collaboration, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines. Location is hybrid in Warsaw, Poland or Malmö, Sweden.

Position available in Warsaw, Poland or Malmö, Sweden (On-Site Hybrid)

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Build Engineer to join the development of a new IP.   
 
Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly-skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining! 
 
As a member of the Engineering department, you’ll help manage our build servers and build systems, finding and fixing problems before others are even aware that they exist.    

 
You’ll help us by 

  • Collaborate with developers, QA and Production to optimize their respective workflows.

  • Develop and manage our build applications and systems on multiple platforms 

  • Integrate our build systems with common platforms and tools used by many teams 

  • Monitor and respond to build system health incidents, and help problem solve issues 

  • Ensure developers on the team can accomplish their day-to-day work efficiently 

  • Document build systems and help educate engineers on build system functionality 

You’re awesome because you have 

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience with build systems and pipeline tools management

  • Strong, proven programming skills (Python, bash, C++) 

  • Experience with implementing and using robust CI and automation pipelines 

  • Passion for developing cross platform automation friendly command line driven tooling 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Creativity in problem solving and a positive, respectful team-first attitude 

  • Organization methods and the capability to meet deadlines

  • Comfort with self-critique and accepting outside feedback 

Bonus points for 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience 

  • Prior experience running software in a cloud hosted environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) 

  • Prior experience in QA and/or building game applications for PC and consoles 

  • Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles
