Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst at Electronic Arts will join the Data & Analytics team, focusing on enhancing player experiences and monetization through data-driven insights. Key responsibilities include designing telemetry logs, conducting deep dives into player behavior, evaluating game events and marketing campaigns, and analyzing daily performance data to identify strategic opportunities. The role also involves creating dashboards and communicating findings to partners, contributing to a global community where creativity and new perspectives thrive.
Must have:
  • Design telemetry logs to track in-game behavior per game design and partner requests.
  • Conduct deep dives and modeling techniques to understand player segments, behaviors, and spending to enhance monetization.
  • Evaluate game events, content updates, and marketing campaigns; provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze daily performance data to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries.
  • Communicate analysis results and recommendations to partners effectively.

The Senior Data Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Data & Analytics team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design telemetry logs to track in-game behavior per game design and partner requests.
  • Conduct deep dives and modeling techniques to understand player segments, behaviors, and spending to enhance monetization.
  • Evaluate game events, content updates, and marketing campaigns; provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze daily performance data to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries.
  • Communicate analysis results and recommendations to partners effectively.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • 5 or more years of experience in SQL, R or Python for data analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills; experience in modeling, A/B/multivariate testing, machine learning, and statistics
  • Familiarity with distributed data stores (Hadoop, Redshift, etc.).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong collaboration across teams and regions.
  • Gaming enthusiast, especially mobile games.

Other:

  • Football fandom is a plus
  • Experience as an analyst in Agile environments.
