Senior Frontend Developer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Contentful CMS. You’ll play a key role in building fast, reliable, and scalable web applications, ensuring excellent user experience and performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, writing clean code, and collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience in frontend development to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Integrate and manage Contentful CMS to enable scalable content workflows.
• Implement responsive designs with performance, SEO, and accessibility in mind.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Work closely with backend and design teams to deliver seamless end-to-end features.
• Stay updated on modern frontend technologies and suggest improvements to workflows.

EXPERIENCE

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Advanced knowledge of React.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with Next.js for SSR and static site generation.
• Hands-on expertise in Contentful CMS integration.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive UI.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Very strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-learner, able to work both independently and as a member of a geographically dispersed team.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL and API-first development.
• Familiarity with design systems or component libraries (Storybook, Material UI, Tailwind).
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Vercel, or similar).
• Background in headless CMS or multilingual website projects.
