We're working on several exciting projects and are seeking a Senior Game Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the creative vision and direction of the title into game mechanics and features
• Define the content, core loops and all components of game mechanics or features from concept to final quality
• Take ownership of feature development ensuring that they adhere to the game’s creative vision and direction
• Maintain a close relationship with the code team to create a cohesive experience
• Review other game designers' work and provide clear and constructive feedback
• Help set the benchmark of feature creation and game design standards on collaboration, iteration and quality execution
• Help establish and advocate for best practices, workflow and processes for game design
• Regularly update key stakeholders and collate feedback into tasks for the team
• Identify and manage risks within the schedule and backlog
• Help schedule and resource work for the game design team
• Perform any detailed real-world research as necessary

What we’re looking for

• Multiple shipped AA/AAA titles
• Proven ability to take direction, seek feedback and act on that feedback
• Has experience working on multiplayer first-person shooter games
• Strong knowledge of game design principles for the first-person shooter genre
• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5
• Strong practical knowledge of game development practices, methodologies and tools
• Always willing to learn new tools and techniques
• Highly collaborative with all disciplines
• Proven communication skills to illustrate gameplay features to the development team
• Has mentored juniors and has supported the team regardless of their experience and knowledge
• Can prioritise and time manage tasks effectively while maintaining a healthy working environment
