Job Description

Bohemia Interactive, a renowned gaming company based in Prague, is seeking a skilled Senior IT Administrator to join their team. As a Senior IT Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's internal infrastructure, including servers and services. You will be making crucial decisions regarding the daily operations of the IT infrastructure and ensuring its seamless functionality. Your responsibilities will include installing and managing virtual machines, with experience in Debian being beneficial. You will also handle the installation and management of Apache and MySQL, along with configuring services and devices based on specifications. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing data backup and recovery procedures. This role requires advanced knowledge of Linux, particularly Debian, and experience with VMware virtualization. Proficiency in networking, including routing, firewalls, and VPNs, is essential. You will be expected to demonstrate expertise in high availability (HA) proxy and possess a strong desire to explore new technologies.

Must have:

Advanced Linux (Debian)
VMware Virtualization
Networking (Routing, Firewall, VPN)
HA Proxy Experience
Data Backup & Recovery
Apache & MySQL Administration

Good to have:

Juniper JunOS
FortiOS
Couchbase Administration
SVN Administration
PostgreSQL, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher), Helm, GitLab
Scripting/Programming (Python)

Job Description

Budeš denně udržovat a inovovat naši interní infrastrukturu a všechny její servery a služby
Na tvých bedrech bude také zodpovědnost za každodenní rozhodování, budeš zkrátka zkušený kolega, kterému budeme věřit
Zajišťování nepřetržitého a správného chodu našich systémů
Budeš instalovat a spravovat virtuálky. K tomu se ti hodí zkušenosti s Debianem
Budeš se potýkat s instalací Apache, MySQL, konfigurací služeb a zařízení podle zadání
Na zodpovědnost budeš mít i zálohování a obnovu dat

Education/Skills

Pokročilá znalost Linuxu jako Debian
Zkušenost s virtualizací Vmware
Pokročilé vytváření sítí, kde se dokážeš poprat s routováním, firewallem i VPN
Vysoká dostupnost pro nás není prázdný pojem, budou se ti tedy hodit zkušenosti s HA proxy
Zvídavost a touha prozkoumávat nové technologie se u nás cení, máš tedy volné pole působnosti na zkoušení nových přístupů
Bude se ti hodit i řidičský průkaz, stačí skupiny B, větší stroje si můžeš vyzkoušet v našich hrách :)
Zúročí se ti také nekonečné hodiny na kurzech angličtiny či před obrazovkou sledováním seriálů, komunikace s některými kolegy je možná jen anglicky

Jak poznáš, že máš dobře našlápnuto:

Máš zkušenosti s různými síťovými OS jako Juniper JunOS, FortiOS
Není ti cizí ani administrace Couchbase, MySQL a SVN
Setkal jsi se s PostgreSQL, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher), Helm, GitLab, scriptovani / programovani / Python
