Job Description

Bohemia Interactive is seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Artist specializing in weapons and vehicles for a bold, unannounced title. This role involves hands-on contribution to creating new assets, leading visual direction, and ensuring artistic excellence. The Senior Artist will shape the game's visual quality, drive consistency across assets, and collaborate with other departments for a cohesive player experience.

  • Modelling and texturing of various weapon and vehicle assets
  • Adjusting existing assets based on the updated designs
  • Collaborating with other teams to define art needs and make decisions according to project vision
  • Monitoring industry trends and providing feedback on the technical art side
  • Actively pursuing art pipeline improvements and maintaining documentation
  • Providing feedback to outsourcing studios (when necessary)

As Bohemia Interactive embarks on the development of a bold and unannounced title, we're searching for a passionate and innovative Senior Artist with extensive experience in creating beautiful and functional visuals for weapons and vehicles. You’ll be hands-on, actively contributing to the creation of new assets and leading the way with your vision and expertise.

This is more than just another art position – it’s a chance to be at the heart of a groundbreaking game that will influence the studio’s future. You will play a key role in shaping the visual direction and quality of our game, driving artistic excellence and consistency across all assets and collaborating closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and compelling player experience.

Duties

  • Modelling and texturing of various weapon and vehicle assets
  • Adjusting existing assets based on the updated designs
  • Collaborating with other teams to define the art needs and help to make decisions according to the overall project vision
  • Monitoring trends in the industry and providing feedback on the technical art side
  • Actively pursuing any art pipeline improvements and maintaining documentation
  • Providing feedback to the outsourcing studios (when necessary)

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • Ability to handle the creative process from concept to delivery
  • Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D asset creation workflows and software (e.g. 3DS Max/Maya/Blender/ZBrush, Substance Designer and Painter, Photoshop)
  • Good spoken and written communication in English
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of DayZ or Arma (modding experience is optional, but a big plus)
