Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Learning Partner to enhance individual and organizational performance within a learning and development context. You will support the Global Product organization and product practitioners across the firm. With Visa’s strategy and priorities in mind, you will conduct assessments and thorough root cause analysis to identify business challenges, skill and knowledge gaps, synthesize performance data and determine the most effective solutions to enhance organizational performance.

Reporting to the Global Head of Product and VAS Learning, you’ll join a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to advancing learning and development for Visa’s Product Management function and VAS worldwide. In this key role, you’ll partner with the Talent Team, People Team, and business leaders to identify skill gaps and drive impactful solutions that leverage the 3Es of development—Experience, Exposure, and Education.

You’ll design and deliver learning experiences for employees at all levels, driving performance improvement, change initiatives, and strategic curriculum design. Your work will play a pivotal role in building the capabilities that power Visa’s continued growth and innovation on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Strategically partner with Leadership Teams, Talent Partners, People Business Partners, and more to define performance goals and objectives.
  • Guide business clients through goal definition, opportunity identification, and solutions using problem-solving principles.
  • Develop and implement strategic performance improvement plans that align with business goals, leveraging existing products (i.e. learning solutions) or creating new ones when needed.
  • Build strong relationships, reputation, credibility, and influence with key stakeholders across the company.
  • Collaborate within a matrixed environment and with employees from other teams and projects.
  • Work with the Performance Consulting Guild to develop guidelines and best practices for the role.

Consulting and Solutioning

  • Identify business challenges and perform root cause analysis to determine the right solutions to drive organizational performance.
  • Gather data and pertinent information about work processes, organizational culture, and obstacles to performance.
  • Conduct learning and performance needs analysis to identify skill or knowledge gaps and design solutions to close these gaps.
  • Develop strong business acumen to understand the organization’s goals and how they translate into specific performance requirements.
  • Create actionable solution designs that solve client issues, ensuring a link to business performance outcomes.
  • Capture feedback and incorporate it into analysis.

Measurement and Impact

  • Establish performance metrics and evaluation procedures to deliver impact.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance improvement strategies and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful implementation of performance improvement initiatives.

Visa Learning and innovation Ambassador

  • Build deep knowledge of Visa’s Learning and Development programs and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Engage in bold, strategic, and creative thinking to produce solutions inclusive of training.
  • Display a continuous learning mindset, constantly seeking expertise in the learning discipline.
  • Be a champion of Visa’s learning culture and values.
  • Integrate Visa Learning into marketing and communication campaigns to drive engagement.
  • Integrate AI technologies and practices into daily operations and learning solutions to enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Lead cross-functional, agile project teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement
  • Occasionally facilitate leadership or other learning programs.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree is a plus.10+ years of experience as a Performance or Learning Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Experience in training needs analysis, diagnostics, supporting L&D solutions, and evaluation of L&D projects.
  • Experience in or support of product organizations/departments, with a particular focus on product management capabilities and frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile management practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create positive relationships at all levels.
  • Consultative orientation with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and consulting skills.
  • Proven experience applying AI tools and methodologies to optimize workflows and develop forward-thinking learning experiences that drive engagement and impact.
  • Aptitude for interpreting data, identifying trends, and driving strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of performance metrics and management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent team collaboration, coaching, and training skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and process improvement techniques.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 120,900.00 to 175,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
