We are looking for a permanent full-time

for our team.
As a Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial Law with us –
- You are responsible for the comprehensive legal support of the individual business areas of the Publicis Group and the agencies in the DACH region in German and English.
- You independently review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers from the advertising and media industry.
- You independently review, draft, and negotiate software and IT contracts.
- You advise on the public procurement of IT services.
- You independently review advertising campaigns, advertising ideas, and advertising concepts for their legal harmlessness.
- You advise on the development of new business models in the agencies.
- You are responsible for receivables management and initiating dunning procedures.
- You take on organizational tasks, e.g., preparing reports, memos, and presentations for the Legal Director and/or the corporate legal department.
- You develop pragmatic solutions for fundamental legal problems, in compliance with corporate guidelines and the respective applicable local legal situation.
- You support other legal departments with international framework agreements/projects.
- You work with cooperating external lawyers at home and abroad.
- You report directly to the Head of the Legal Department.

Qualifications
Our Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial Law bring with them –
- 2nd State Examination (fully qualified lawyer)
- 5 - 7 years of professional experience in a legal department of a company or a law firm
- Advanced knowledge in general and special civil law, especially service and contract law, commercial, IT, competition and copyright law, as well as industrial property rights.
- Knowledge in media law, general terms and conditions law, and public tenders.
- Further knowledge or experience in other legal areas such as labor or corporate law is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial and pragmatic thinking and acting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills / precise expression.
- Assertiveness with a customer-oriented service mentality and professional demeanor.
- In-depth experience in negotiating national and international contracts.
- Proactive, independent, and meticulous way of working.
- Team player.
- Fluent English skills in spoken and written word.
- Project management experience and/or any completed further training.
