Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Partner with Search leadership to define and refine and own Search’s strategy; driving the realization of our annual planning process.
• Performance Excellence: Think critically about processes, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that drive accountability and results across teams, including developing our monthly business reviews and owning similar deliverables.
• Business Research & Insights: Evolve to develop subject-matter expertise in Search (particularly the evolving nature of querying and delivering on user intent), conduct research to assess competitive landscape and to shape areas for business and product improvement.
• Special Projects & Program Management: Drive execution of select initiatives and special projects (including sizing or framing specific Big Bets, considerations specific to certain geographies), ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. This includes supporting Search and Yahoo leadership communications and deliverables, ensuring readiness for offsites, all-hands, and select partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, tech strategy and/or tech ops, or related roles—ideally with experience in a high-growth or matrixed environment.
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and improving operational performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with financial modeling and data analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring structure to complex problems
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
