Job Description

The Senior Manager will be a member of the Visa Direct Global Strategy & Operations team. The team plays a key role in shaping the multi-year strategy, leading strategic initiatives, and providing business insights for Visa Direct. Responsibilities include providing analytic and research support for strategy development, leading workstreams, conducting deep dive analyses, supporting project management, and developing clear and concise executive-level communications.
Must have:
  • 8+ years relevant work experience with Bachelor Degree.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in complex environments.
  • Analyze large data sets and formulate insights, excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Good to have:
  • Prior experience in management consulting or internal strategy teams preferred.
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior level executives.
  • Eagerness to work in cross-functional, global teams.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Tableau preferred.

Job Description

Visa Direct facilitates domestic and cross-border money movement, enabling clients to collect, convert, hold and send funds to more than 11 billion cards, bank accounts and digital wallets across over 195 countries and territories. Visa Direct enables person-to-person (P2P) payments, account-to-account (A2A) transfers, funds disbursements (business and government payouts to individuals or small businesses), among other use cases.

The Senior Manager will be a member of the Visa Direct Global Strategy & Operations team. The team plays a key role in shaping the multi-year strategy, leading strategic initiatives, and providing business insights for Visa Direct. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing analytic and research support for strategy development  

  • Leading workstreams, including defining approach, developing recommendations, and crafting communications to generate support from key stakeholders

  • Conducting deep dive analyses across a range of business growth and operational areas as needed to identify key trends, issues, and opportunities

  • Supporting project management needs and ongoing business operations across key cross-functional and regional touchpoints

  • Developing clear and concise executive-level communications

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•Prior experience in management consulting or internal strategy teams
preferred
•Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous
environment and handle multiple workstreams
•Ability to analyze large data sets and formulate insights, excellent attention to
detail
•Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to
senior level executives
•Eagerness to work in cross-functional, global teams with personnel of all levels
to accomplish project objectives
•Strong leadership, interpersonal and collaboration skills
•Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, experience with Tableau preferred

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 135,200 to 196,300 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
