Sperasoft seeks a Senior Material Artist to create high-quality materials and textures for AAA-quality game assets. Responsibilities include producing materials using Substance Designer, Substance Painter, and ZBrush; collaborating with the Lead and Art Director to ensure alignment with art direction; working with Level Artists for convenient material integration; maintaining material library integrity; setting up and ensuring proper engine material functionality; conducting independent research and implementing industry trends; and selecting appropriate software for the job. The ideal candidate possesses deep Substance Designer knowledge, PBR expertise, Maya proficiency, Megascans experience, strong communication and mentoring skills, a keen eye for detail, versatility in creating diverse material styles, a shipped title in the industry, real-time engine optimization knowledge, experience with complex semi-procedural shaders, and knowledge of material blending systems.
