Job Description

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst for its Middle Office Operations team, focusing on trade operations and investment accounting services. This global, fast-paced role requires a broad understanding of all Investment Operations functions, with expertise across the full trade lifecycle and Investment Accounting Operations. The analyst will manage daily tasks, monitor workflows, handle transaction data, oversee trade lifecycle management, resolve booking exceptions for diverse trade types, and perform reconciliations. Responsibilities also include liaising with third parties, client support, and contributing to service development and reporting, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Must have:
  • Action daily tasks and monitor workflow processes.
  • Manage transaction data from clients, managers, and custodians.
  • Oversee Trade Lifecycle Management from confirmation to settlement.
  • Investigate and resolve transaction booking exceptions.
  • Handle various trade types including FI, FX, Equity, and Derivatives.
  • Manage event lifecycles, corporate actions, coupons, and dividends.
  • Perform reconciliations for cash, positions, and transactions.
  • Generate and manage operational reports.
  • Liaise with third parties, clients, and custodians to resolve issues.
  • Respond to client queries and requirements.
  • Participate in client onboarding, testing, and service development.
  • Identify and implement continuous service improvements.
  • Maintain operational procedures and provide ongoing training.
  • Manage administrative tasks and contribute to management reports.
  • Ensure service delivery adheres to SLA and KPI standards.
  • Participate in client internal and external audits.

We are looking for a Senior Operations Analyst to support our Middle Office Operations team, who has a broad understanding of all Investment Operations functions. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Action daily tasks and monitor the workflow of processes such as:
  • Transaction data received from;
  • Clients
  • 3rd party Manager
  • Custodian
  • Trade Lifecycle Management (Confirmation through to Settlement)
  • Monitor, investigate and resolve transaction booking exceptions
  • Trades (FI, FX, Equity, Money Market, Derivatives, Private Debt, SPVs, Real Estate)
  • Events Lifecycle management
  • Corporate Actions, Coupons, Dividends, Derivative lifecycle
  • Reconciliations (Platform vs. Custodian and other 3rd Parties)
  • Cash
  • Position & Transactions
  • Reporting
  • Liaise with 3rd Party Managers, Counterparties, Clients and Custodians to resolve operational issues
  • Responding to client queries / requirements
  • Participating in client on-boarding, testing and service development
  • Identify continuous service development
  • Maintain procedures
  • Maintain ongoing training
  • Manage all administrative activities and contribute to reports to management
  • Knowledge and adherence to service delivery against SLA and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Participate in Client internal and external audits

WHAT WE VALUE:

  • 5-7 years of experience working within a buy-side or outsourced Operations team, specifically Trade Management, FX, and/or Reconciliations
  • SimCorp Dimension experience an advantage
  • Possess good level of knowledge on Capital Market products
  • Familiarity of diverse security types and investment industry
  • Proficient in Derivatives product knowledge (OTC pricing, lifecycle) and related areas
  • Excellent communication with good verbal and written skills (English Language)
  • Advanced MS Office tools (Word &Excel)
  • Continuously improve analytical skills and logical understanding of process
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Other requirements

  • EMEA shift hours (May change depending on business needs)
  • Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
