The Senior Paralegal will support Pluralsight's growing teams, working within the Legal team's corporate group. The role involves collaborating with various teams, including Legal, People, Finance, Tax, and Accounting. Responsibilities include administering business operations, employment and labor matters, compliance, and litigation support. The paralegal will work on employment and labor projects, support M&A activities, manage vendor relationships, assist with litigation, update corporate policies, conduct legal research, and complete special projects. The ideal candidate should be organized, proficient, proactive, and capable of independent judgment, with a positive attitude and a passion for solving problems. The role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and a paralegal certificate.

Job Description:

We are looking for a hard-working, competent, and adaptable Paralegal to support our rapidly growing and evolving Pluralsight teams! You will be a part of the Legal team's corporate group and partner with teams across Pluralsight, including Legal, People, Finance, Tax, and Accounting. This role will report directly to the Associate General Counsel Employment and Litigation. This role will help administer Pluralsight's business operations, employment and labor, compliance, and litigation.

What you’ll do:

  • Work hands-on with company employment and labor projects as assigned by attorneys.

  • Support our M&A activity and other strategic transactions, including NDAs, due diligence, and virtual data site and post-closing administration and integration.

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee the organization and processing of legal invoices.

  • Assist corporate attorneys with domestic and international litigation through outside counsel as necessary.

  • Managing and updating various internal corporate and employment policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Conduct legal research on topics as assigned by attorneys and provide well-reasoned recommendations.

  • Design and complete special projects as assigned.

  • Ability to understand full scope of business operations and advise on implications of various actions.

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree.

  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited school or program.
