CoinTracker makes cryptocurrency portfolio tracking and tax compliance simple, enabling consumers and businesses to seamlessly track their cryptocurrency portfolio, investment performance, taxes, and more. We are a globally distributed team on a mission to enable everyone in the world to use crypto with peace of mind. Your mission is to build a best-in-class financial foundation that facilitates rapid scaling.

Must Have:

Lead CoinTracker through its first financial audit process
Own the closing and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assess and upgrade our existing financial systems and processes
Hire and manage a world-class Accounting team
Demonstrated ability to drive business impact
Mission alignment: Hungry and motivated about making progress towards our mission
Trust: Say what you believe. Do what you say.
Communication: Able to clearly talk about the details and also zoom out to the bigger picture
Thought partner to Head of Finance
Track record of preparing a company for its first external audit
Proven ability to handle complex revenue recognition under ASC 606
Ability to scale an Accounting org while supporting rapid growth, with an emphasis on an automation-first mindset
8+ years of total relevant experience

Build a best-in-class financial foundation that facilitates rapid scaling

Your one-year outcomes

Successful first financial audit with a clean opinion and no material weaknesses
Month-end close time reduced from 10 business days to 5
