SAP Functional consultant (FI/CO)

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant (FI/CO). This role involves aligning technology with business strategy, gathering client requirements, and designing/implementing SAP best practices. The consultant will leverage strong finance and controlling process knowledge, FICO integration expertise, and experience in leading workshops to deliver value-adding consulting solutions for global clients, focusing on ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Must Have

• Strong business process knowledge in accounting, finance, and controlling.
• Strong FICO integration knowledge with MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Experience in leading customer workshops, requirement elicitation, and business blueprinting.
• Proficiency in design, configuration, and testing for core FICO areas (GL, AP, AR, Bank, Fixed Assets, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, CO-PC, ML, Tax, BTP, Fiori apps).
• Experience with custom solutions and interfaces between SAP & Non-SAP systems.
• Hands-on experience with RICEFW objects, SAP tables, AIF, BADI, BDCs, and OSS notes.
• Good knowledge of Cutover strategy, Testing, and Migration.
• Minimum 6-8 years as SAP FICO functional consultant and 4 years of domain experience in Finance.
• Completed at least 2 end-to-end ECC or S/4HANA implementations with team handling skills.
• Experience in at least one CFIN implementation or complete familiarity with CFIN architecture.
• Educational qualification: CA/MBA (Fin)/CFA / ICWA with SAP Certified FICO consultant.

Good to Have

• Experience in SAP Upgrade projects.
• Experience on S/4 HANA in Public cloud.
• Exposure to New Age Tools like Analytics, AI/ML.
• Knowledge of niche areas: SAC, Group Reporting, BPC, FSCM, TRM, FI-CA, GRC-PC, C-FIN, ACR.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

As an Expert, you will align technology with business strategy, working directly with the client gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology, SAP best practices, business changes to achieve defined business goals. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our Clients / Team to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Highly articulate, with the ability to engage across all levels of the business and teams, both internally and externally.

• Strong business process knowledge in accounting, finance and controlling.
• Strong Knowledge of FICO integration with MM, SD, PP and PS is a must. Work experience in handling accounting / costing functions for manufacturing companies preferably in ECC & S/4.
• Experienced in leading customer workshops, requirement elicitation and business blueprinting
• Knowledge with design/configuration and testing for core FICO areas like GL, AP, AR, Bank, Fixed Assets, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, CO-PC, ML, Tax, BTP, Fiori apps.
• Experience with designing custom solutions and interfaces between SAP & Non-SAP systems. Extensively worked on RICEFW objects with rich knowledge of SAP tables, AIF, BADI, BDCs and OSS notes & familiarity with Customer influence portal.
• Good Knowledge in Cutover strategy, Testing and Migration are mandatory.
• Experience working on new rollouts with Country specific local legal requirements pertaining to North America, APAC, EMEA (Tax, Accounting Standards). Experience with Tax Engine and its integration with SAP. Good understanding of integration points of tax within Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
• Exposure to at least one of the following:
• Complex make to order scenarios with and without variant configuration
• Engineer to order scenarios with Project Systems
• Material Ledger-Actual Costing or Parallel Valuation
• Been part of business analytics and / or process automation projects. Involved in one Finance Transformation engagement.
• Well experienced in handling / building Bidding & Proposals, customer demos, sale collaterals and go-to-market strategies.
• Involvement in POCs, building new competencies, reusability quotient, content reviews etc.
• Skills on mentoring, training, knowledge sharing aspects as part of associate / team engagement
• Very good Communication (verbal & written), Presentation skills and proper e-mail etiquette.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

CA/MBA (Fin)/CFA / ICWA with SAP Certified FICO consultant

Experience :

1. Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience as SAP FICO functional consultant and minimum 4 years of domain experience in Finance area.

2. Minimum 2 end to end implementation in ECC or S/4HANA, in Financials with team handling skills and experience in leading business blueprint workshops and solutioning.

3. Has worked in at least 1 CFIN implementation and / or completely familiar with the CFIN architecture

4. Experience in Upgrade projects good but not compulsory.

5. Experience on S/4 HANA in Public cloud would be an added advantage.
