The Senior Project Manager will build and manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring quality deliverables are completed within the defined timeframe and budget. They will implement an effective governance model, keeping stakeholders informed. Responsibilities include leading project teams, managing data, integration, and software solutions. The role involves developing delivery plans, stakeholder and vendor management, and maintaining risk and status registers. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience and manage projects for Financial ERP’s like D365, Oracle, and SAP.

  • D365 functional or technical certification.
Must Have:

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure that project goals and objectives are clearly defined and met. 

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on design standards, techniques, methods, and tools. Evaluate technical requirements and assess project feasibility. Navigate complex technical environments with diverse business and technical stakeholders. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage project risks and issues. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues. 

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and partners. Negotiate, advise, influence, and consult with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure successful project outcomes. 

  • Provide leadership and direction to project team members. Work collaboratively within a high-performing team and effectively communicate project status and risks to stakeholders. 

  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. 

  • Track and report on project metrics, including budget, schedule, and resource utilization. Present status reports and project updates to stakeholders and management. 

  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Participate in professional development activities to maintain technical and project management skills.  

Skills and Experience -

  • 15+ years total experience comprising a blend of Development, Project Management, working in a complex matrixed, international and cross-cultural organisation 
  • Broad technical expertise combined with strong leadership and communication capabilities to drive innovation and change 
  • Experience in managing projects, project teams and delivering complex digital IT projects 

  • Working knowledge in implementing or managing projects for Financial ERP’s will be highly regarded (i.e. D365, Oracle, SAP) 

  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence - always 

  • Exemplary stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills 

  • Effective and appropriate communicator across stakeholder groups of varying levels 

  • Strong vendor management to drive better business outcomes for dentsu 

  • A proven ability to learn new products, develop functional knowledge and apply new skills in a high paced environment 

  • Ability to manage workload and time according to set deadlines 

  • Ability to work under limited direction, in a professional manner 

  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines 

  • Certification in Prince 2 and/or PMBOK  

  • Exposure D365 F&O eco system

  • Experience in managing ERP deployments 

  • D365 functional or technical certification
