We are looking for "hard working" and "highly motivated" automation quality engineers to join our growing team for Workspace. You will be an individual contributor in an agile team. Key responsibilities include leading high-quality software releases, leading small teams, coordinating testing processes, ensuring software meets requirements, reviewing test plans, and maintaining customer technology solutions. The role involves understanding LSEG's commercial direction, building relationships, and communicating technical information effectively. Must have:
  • 7+ years in software delivery.
  • Experience in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Team-collaboration and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and quality ownership.
  • Test Management experience in software quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium, Postman.
  • Experience with CICD methodology and testing automation tools.
Good to have:
  • Experience with performance engineering.
  • Experience with SDLC stage and public cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe.
  • Financial Knowledge.

Role Description:

We are looking for "hard working"and " highly motivated" automation quality engineers to join our growing team for Workspace as we strive to deliver excellence to our customers. You are an individual contributor who will be member of empowered agile team working on our portfolio of products!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead to deliver high quality, on time software releases that meet client requirements.

  • Lead small a team, allocates tasks to team members and co-ordinate work of other team members to efficiently implement the end-to-end testing process.

  • Handles and leads end-to-end testing delivery and activities in alignment with the organization’s quality standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs.

  • Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy.

  • Leads all aspects of the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time.

  • Develops understanding of LSEG's commercial direction and how quality and technology in part of this.

  • Builds positive relationships with internal and external collaborators, growing own network and collaborating with other teams.

  • Communicates sophisticated / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format.

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering

  • 7+ years in software delivery domain

  • Proven experience of testing processes and methodologies: strategy, plan, design, implement, report and measurement

  • Good team-collaboration and skills on effective communication

  • Familiar with agile methodology and good sense of quality ownership and risk assessment

  • Exhibits Test Management experience in entire software development process, software quality assurance, preferably in multi-tiered applications.

  • Validated hands-on experience in at least one programming language JavaScript/TypeScript, Selenium, Postman.

  • Experience on CICD methodology, testing automation tools and frameworks.

  • Experience with performance engineering, SDLC stage, public cloud (AWS, Azure), Agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe, Financial Knowledge is a plus.
