Job Description

Responsible for character, prop, and creature skeleton setup, skinning, and testing. This role involves importing rigging assets into the engine, setting up ControlRig when necessary, and developing/maintaining rigging tools and plugins to improve efficiency. The senior rigger will also collaborate with modeling and animation teams to test rigging effects and troubleshoot issues, specializing in MetaHuman for Maya facial rigging, UE engine facial ControlRig setup, and real-time facial capture testing.
Good To Have:
  • Familiarity with and mastery of Maya, Max, UE script code is a plus
  • Skilled in using and creating MetaHuman for Maya facial rigging
  • Setting up ControlRig for UE engine faces
  • Assisting with real-time facial capture testing with the engine
Must Have:
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Passion for games and strong interest in game development
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Maya rigging
  • Understand Max rigging process
  • Proficient in using relevant plugins
  • Understand Unreal Engine asset import process
  • Able to assist in troubleshooting rigging model issues
  • Strong teamwork, responsibility, and good communication skills
  • Good at learning and summarizing, willing to share, able to work under pressure
  • Resume must include portfolio

Job Description

3. Maintain or develop rigging tools and plugins to improve daily work efficiency.

4. Collaborate with modeling and animation teams to test rigging effects and troubleshoot upstream and downstream issues.

5. Skilled in using and creating MetaHuman for Maya facial rigging, setting up ControlRig for UE engine faces, and assisting with real-time facial capture testing with the engine.

Job Requirements

1. Associate degree or above, passionate about games, and a strong interest in game development.

2. 3 years or more of relevant work experience.

3. Proficient in Maya rigging, familiar with Max rigging processes, skilled in using relevant plugins, and willing to learn related technical processes.

4. Understand Unreal Engine asset import processes and can assist in troubleshooting issues with rigged models.

5. Familiarity with and mastery of Maya, Max, and UE script code is a plus.

6. Possess teamwork spirit, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, good at learning and summarizing, willing to share, and able to work under certain pressure.
