Join our Technology Group, responsible for developing cutting-edge technology for gaming platforms, Game Development Kits, Tools, and Analytics Engines used globally in casinos and digital games.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), your role is pivotal in ensuring testing accuracy. You'll plan, execute, and guide quality assurance activities. These can include developing and maintaining automated test cases and frameworks, executing both manual and automated test suites and analyzing results, and logging and diagnosing defects. Your partnership with the engineering team is crucial in understanding testing requirements. Operating in a disciplined agile environment, you'll deliver high-quality software both collaboratively and autonomously.

Additionally, you'll cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and technical peers across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Assess product features and designs to estimate scope of testing work and highlight dependencies for test requirements.

  • Exhibit excellent team attitude while working closely with other QA engineers, developers and product management to create required artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and reports.

  • Demonstrate a high level of technical acumen in identifying automation targets and designing white box test scenarios, participating in feature design reviews, providing feedback and recommending improvements.

  • Design, build, document, maintain, enhance, execute and troubleshoot automated test suites and infrastructure to expand code coverage and quality of the overall product.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code to find the root cause of defects and capture detailed information in bug reports for the development team.

  • Participate in required regression testing throughout the development cycle executing both manual and automated tests, reporting results, and logging defects.

  • Promote established processes across the team as well as seeking opportunities to streamline and improve upon them.

  • Mentor less experienced SDETs in automation techniques, processes, and best practices.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • An engineering degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing

  • Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, best practices, and procedures with a passion for quality and test automation.

  • Knowledge of any scripting language, preferably python.

  • 3+ years of working in C++ or C#.

  • Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRails.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders.

  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot software using industry standard tools.

  • Ability to analyze information and use logic to perform tasks efficiently and within deadlines.

  • Possess good problem-solving skills to resolve work-related issues and problems.

  • Experience using source code control systems such as GitHub.

  • Prior experience in the gaming industry is preferred.

  • Prior experience testing/validating SDK is preferred.

  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
