Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer:

Job Duties:

Developing and implementing features by developing specifications, writing, testing, and deploying code that integrates with real-time data streams and API endpoints. Gather product/customer requirements, analyze or write technical documentation, and align with R&D teams on development scope. Conduct feature tests before deployment to ensure quality. Brainstorm and collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to conceptualize new features and guide decisions based on knowledge of the codebase. Review product designs and provide technical feasibility analysis and feedback. Participate in design review meetings to discuss user experience patterns and design improvements. Mentor other engineers. Research new web technologies and provide potential solutions to existing problems. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements:

Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements:

(1) JavaScript (React (ES6 & above)); (2) Redux and TypeScript; (3) Building complex layouts with CSS and HTML; (4) Developing testing strategy, and writing unit & integration tests; (5) investigating and improving JavaScript performance; (6) WebRTC, WebSockets and Local Storage; (7) WCAG 2 standards; (8) working with and collaborating to component libraries and design systems; (9) building and debugging complex systems in a team environment; (10) leading collaboration with engineers on other platforms, or across pillars, to determine the best approach to designing features, improving systems, or solving issues. Telecommuting is an option. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
