Job Description

Senior Strategic Account Managers at Lytx are responsible for stabilizing and strengthening high-stakes client relationships through proactive engagement and personalized solutions. This role involves leveraging deep product and industry expertise to identify opportunities, lead strategic engagement efforts, and drive cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, client-centric solutions. The manager will project manage changes, maintain a dynamic portfolio of enterprise accounts, serve as a trusted advisor, and provide regular insights on account health and progress, all while working quickly to ensure client satisfaction.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in telematics industry or related SaaS solutions including applications in commercial transportation is a plus
Must Have:
  • 10+ years of B2B sales within a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience
  • Proven Sales DNA experience in sales, key account management, or a similar client-facing role, with a track record of retaining and growing strategic accounts
  • Outstanding ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong drive to succeed and a “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to analyze and interpret client data, identify risk factors, and recommend plan solutions to secure and grow accounts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing competing priorities and demanding client needs
  • Self-reliant with the ability to provide recommendations to leadership
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional partnerships
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to continuously evolve with a fast-growing company
  • Experience organizing and managing multiple account assignments in a high-volume environment
  • Previous experience successfully solving problems requiring cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%)

Senior Strategic Account Managers step in to high-stakes accounts to engage in interventions that stabilize and strengthen client relationships. Their ability to respond quickly to concerns, adjust strategies, and deliver personalized solutions under pressure will help sustain our base of customers. The main focus of this role will be narrowly focused on high-stakes accounts and you will partner with a cross-section of internal stakeholders to drive the resolution of client issues. You’ll Get To:

  • Leverage deep product and industry expertise to proactively identify opportunities for strengthening enterprise account relationships and enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Lead strategic engagement efforts with enterprise clients, developing and executing cross-functional plans that foster trust, address challenges, and drive long-term partnership success.
  • Drive cross-functional team such as Client Services, Product, Technical Support, Billing and Orders Management to deliver seamless, client-centric solutions that elevate the customer experience.
  • Project manage and influence cross-functional teams to implement positive, solution-oriented changes that align with client goals and business outcomes.
  • Actively manage a dynamic portfolio of enterprise accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and readiness to hand of accounts to clear way for the ability to support new strategic opportunities as they arise.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partnering with clients to understand their evolving business needs and demonstrating how our products and services deliver measurable value.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, positioning the company as a strategic partner in their success.
  • Provide regular insights and reporting on account health, progress toward strategic goals, and future opportunities, using key metrics to inform both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports on account health, recovery progress, and forecasting for both internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$162,250.00 - $204,750.00
