A Technical Architect (TA) belongs to the Professional Services team in the Customer Success division and is a technical consultant who supports and promotes digital transformation using Salesforce for strategic client companies.
Specifically,
- As an IT strategy advisor, support and execute upstream project processes such as system concept formulation, overall architecture design, PoC, and requirements definition.
- Execute Salesforce implementation projects as a prime contractor.
- In cases such as individual projects led by customers/partners or technical support across multiple projects, lead projects with high technical skills and specialized knowledge of the Salesforce platform to successfully guide customers towards digital transformation.
Job Details
- Focus on customer success as a trusted advisor and promote projects based on an understanding of customer strategies.
- For assigned projects, perform the following tasks related to Salesforce utilization or support customers and partners:
- Overall system architecture design (external integration, authentication, security methods, large data processing methods, mobile utilization, etc.), and development strategy/plan formulation.
- Prototype construction and technical verification.
- Requirements definition and solution design.
- Creation of development standards such as development guides/rules, and establishment of mechanisms to manage/streamline development/operation processes (e.g., CI/CD).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.
- Review and advise on key project deliverables.
- Configuration, construction, and testing of executable platforms (integration with external systems and authentication infrastructure, declarative feature configuration, design and implementation of reusable custom development features, etc.).
- Building CoE and DevOps organizations and promoting Salesforce utilization.
- Communicate closely with customers and business partners to gain trust and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with members in other roles such as project managers, business architects, and solution architects to achieve results as a team.
- Continuously learn new products and technologies, and acquire certifications as a Salesforce expert.
- Learn, utilize, and contribute to the accumulation of knowledge based on personal experience, as well as best practices, knowledge, and methodologies held globally by Salesforce.
- Collaborate with global product development teams and architects to solve customer challenges.
- Disseminate information internally and externally, contributing to the expansion of the partner ecosystem and the Trailblazer community.
- Mentoring, supporting, and developing team members.

Technical Architects (TAs) support a wide range of projects from concept formulation to development and operation in complex and difficult projects for strategic customers, providing optimal architecture and solutions for the entire system including Salesforce, thereby leading customer business and digital transformation to success.
In the course of their work, TAs have easy access to global insights and knowledge, and by collaborating with product development teams and top-level Salesforce architect colleagues, they can grow into first-class Salesforce and cloud architects.
TAs are also responsible for system integration with on-premise systems and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IDaaS, etc.) outside of Salesforce, so they can fully leverage project experience and technical skills beyond Salesforce, and acquire knowledge of open, vendor-independent, cutting-edge technologies, standard specifications, and cloud architectures.
Basic Requirements
- Delivery experience (5 to 10 years) in enterprise system development, CRM software implementation, consulting, etc.
- Experience in demonstrating leadership (approximately 5 years) as an architect, technical leader, project manager, or project leader for projects of about 10 people.
- Knowledge and experience in general web application development and data modeling.
- Hands-on skills to quickly perform technical tasks (setting/testing cloud services, simple programming, etc.) independently.
- Ability to work proactively and lead complex projects with ownership.
- Consulting skills such as logical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation.
- Communication with customers and facilitation skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and products, strong curiosity.
- Ability to work in a team.
Preferred Requirements
- Specialized knowledge in system integration, single sign-on, large data processing, mobile development, agile development processes, DevOps, etc.
- Flexible communication skills and liaison/coordination abilities tailored to the audience, such as CXO/executive class, department manager class, or individual staff members.
- Knowledge and experience regarding various Salesforce cloud solutions and CRM.
- Web frontend development experience (especially SPA like Angular, React, Vue.js).
- English communication skills.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects.
