Nexters is seeking an experienced Technical Lead for their flagship project, Hero Wars: Dominion Era. The role involves planning and coordinating team work, managing tasks, estimating timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met. The Technical Lead will also maintain process transparency, support process improvements, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. Candidates should have extensive experience as a Frontend or Backend (TypeScript, PHP) Developer or QA Engineer, with at least two years of leadership experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead, and strong software architecture design skills.

Must Have:

Lead and coordinate team work, including task distribution, timeline estimation, and deadline adherence.
Maintain process transparency and communicate development status to stakeholders.
Improve development processes, pipelines, documentation, and meetings.
Manage team performance through feedback, reviews, and composition changes.
Ensure adherence to engineering practices, quality, and project standards.
Possess extensive experience as a Frontend or Backend (TypeScript, PHP) Developer or QA Engineer.
Have at least 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Team Lead.
Demonstrate solid understanding and strong skills in software architecture design.
Ability to organize processes for transparent and timely development.
Strong communication, motivation, goal-setting, and conflict resolution skills.

About your role

We’re looking to strengthen one of the teams working on our flagship project, Hero Wars: Dominion Era, with an experienced Technical Lead.

What you’ll be doing

Planning and coordinating the team’s work, distributing tasks, estimating timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met
Maintaining process transparency: provide the team with a clear understanding of goals and timelines, and keep stakeholders up to date on development status
Supporting and improving processes, pipelines, documentation, trackers, and meetings
Providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and participating in team composition changes
Ensuring adherence to engineering practices, quality requirements, and project standards

We hope that you have

Extensive experience as a Frontend or Backend (TypeScript, PHP) Developer or QA Engineer
At least 2 years of experience leading a product development team as a Tech Lead or Team Lead
Solid understanding of software architecture and strong skills in designing it
The ability to organize and implement processes that ensure development transparency and timely delivery
Skills to communicate values and motivate the team to achieve goals
The ability to set goals, track their progress, and provide high-quality feedback on results
Strong skills in fostering collaboration within the team, negotiating, and resolving conflicts
