Technical Lead

About your role

We want to strengthen the team of our flagship project, Hero Wars: Alliance, with an experienced Technical Lead.

What you’ll be doing

Product Development and Delivery

• Plan the team's work and allocate tasks among team members.
• Estimate delivery timelines and monitor adherence to deadlines.
• Integrate process and development pipeline changes into the team.
• Ensure transparency in team operations. On one side, the team should clearly understand what is expected of them, including deadlines and quality, by the stakeholders. On the other side, stakeholders should always have clarity on which stage of the lifecycle a feature/stream is at.
• Ensure tools that support the development process—documentation, task trackers, and necessary regular meetings—are up-to-date.

People Management

• Provide regular feedback to team members regarding technical competencies.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Initiate team composition changes (hiring/rotation).
• Initiate rewards for team members for their work achievements.

Technologies

• Ensure compliance with project-wide quality requirements, approaches, and policies.
• Ensure adherence to engineering practices and processes established on the project (e.g., design, code review, testing, incident analysis).

We hope that you have

• 5+ years of experience as a Unity or Backend (C#, PHP) developer;
• 1+ years of experience in managing a development team, with experience as a tech lead/team lead;
• Understanding of software architecture and strong skills in its design;
• Ability to organize and implement processes that ensure development transparency and adherence to deadlines;
• Ability to communicate values and motivate the team to achieve goals;
• Ability to set goals, monitor their achievement, and provide high-quality feedback on work results;
• Ability to establish effective interaction within the team, negotiate, and resolve conflicts.
