Job Description

As a Senior Tester at HCLTech, you will be responsible for testing software code according to assigned tasks, adhering to quality standards to meet client requirements. Your responsibilities include creating and reviewing test cases based on functional specifications and software requirements, testing functionality as per test plans, contributing to test plan development, tracking test coverage and defect density, and interacting with the team and clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products, which are essential to HCLTech's global technology services across various industries.

Must Have:

Create & review Test Cases from Functional Specifications/Software Requirement Specification documents
Test functionality based on the Test plan and respective Test Cases
Contribute to test plan development
Track test coverage, defect density, and publish progress reports
Coordinate with team and interact with client for updates

Job Summary
To test software code as per work allocated within the quality standards prescribed so as to meet the client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. To create & review the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
2. To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases..
3. To contributes while test plans are developed as per the work assigned.
4. To track test coverage, defect density, other relevant metrics, and publish progress reports.
5. To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates).
