Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities & Opportunities

We’re looking for a Shipping Coordinator to keep our shipping operations running smoothly and ensure customers receive their orders on time and accurately. In this role, you’ll support and coordinate Shipping Clerks, work closely with carriers and internal teams, and maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Shipping Clerks and daily shipping activities
• Verify and process customer orders in SAP
• Prepare and maintain shipping records and documentation
• Schedule and arrange shipments with carriers (FTL & LTL)
• Manage material flow, receipts, and inventory transactions
• Support returns, transfers, and special projects
• Promote and follow all Sika safety requirements

Preferred Skills

• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• 1-2 years clerical experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems a plus
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to accuracy, safety, and customer service
