Job Description

A Site SQA Engineer at Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów ensures 100% conformity of supplied components, manages supplier incidents, and tracks their resolution. The role involves initiating and following up on incidents, reviewing supplier analyses, and presenting findings at site meetings. This position requires a technical background, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in quality within the automotive industry to contribute to greener and safer mobility solutions.

Must Have:
  • Ensure 100% conformity of components supplied on a site level.
  • Contact suppliers for containment actions and open incidents.
  • Initiate, analyze, report, and follow-up incidents until closure.
  • Review and challenge analysis from suppliers.
  • Track incidents linked with supplier components.
  • Participate and present supplier analysis on site meetings (SQA QRQC and Plant QRQC).
  • Manage and update key indicators like problem-solving reactivity and charge back follow-up.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Quality Department in an automotive industry.
  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Understanding of technical drawings.
  • Fluent English language.
  • Ability to define and coordinate corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills and analytical mindset.
  • Teamwork skills and problem-solving attitude.

Currently for Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów we recruit a Site SQA Engineer

Your challenges:

  • Ensure 100% conformity of components supplied on a site level
  • Contact suppliers to get from them the containment actions - apply the internal rules to open incidents
  • Ensure conformity for yearly revalidation of the purchased components
  • Initiate, analyze, report and follow-up incidents until the analysis closure
  • Initiate in SRM system an incident to the supplier after preliminary investigation on the Valeo site
  • Review and challenge analysis from suppliers
  • Track each incident detected on Valeo and customer site linked with suppliers components
  • Systematically participate and present supplier analysis on site meetings (SQA QRQC and Plant QRQC)
  • Manage, consolidate and update the following key indicators on a site level:
  • Reactivity in problem solving for each steps of analysis
  • Charge back follow up

Join our team if you have:

  • Min. 2 years experience in a Quality Department in an automotive industry (experience on similar position in will be an asset)
  • Master degree in technical field
  • Understanding of technical drawings
  • Fluent english language
  • Ability to define and coordinate corrective/preventive action plans
  • Well developed interpersonal communication skills, analytical mindset
  • Teamwork skills, problem-solving attitude
