The Social Media Manager will manage social media accounts for Life.Church music artists across various platforms to engage people and guide them towards spiritual growth. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies, creating content schedules, crafting engaging content, managing a volunteer team, and analyzing performance metrics. This role involves collaborating with departments, content creators, and Worship Pastors to support the church's mission, vision, and reach people for Christ.

Job Details

The Social Media Manager is primarily responsible for managing the social media accounts of Life.Church music artists across various platforms. They will effectively engage people and lead them to their next step towards Christ. This role will assist with the development of the marketing strategy for the associated social media accounts to increase engagement and visibility of the content. This role supports the team's direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ. The Life.Church Communications Group develops strategies for how our ministry meets people where they are and empowers them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications Teams, we introduce people to Life.Church, connect them to our mission, and help them take the next steps in their spiritual growth. What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with our non-branded accounts, campuses, other Life.Church departments, and content creators to support planned engagement campaigns with a coordinated effort (marketing, DSPs, other artists, etc.)
  • Develop holistic content strategies that closely align with the other Life.Church social media accounts and support the pastoral vision of Life.Church Music. This includes content strategies for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
  • Develop a focused marketing strategy to increase traffic and visibility of accounts.
  • Create and manage the weekly content schedule for social media platforms on specific Life.Church owned accounts.
  • Craft highly engaging written and visual content while collaborating with the Social Media team and Worship Pastors on visualizations.
  • Build and oversee a social media volunteer team to ensure objectives are known and being met.
  • Collaborate with our non-branded accounts, campuses, other Life.Church departments, and content creators to support planned engagement campaigns with a coordinated effort (marketing, DSPs, other artists, etc.)
  • Identify and measure key performance metrics to determine success of efforts. Report on these metrics and explain ebbs, flows, and future predictions.
  • Provide overall leadership and direction to contractors, ensuring alignment with goals and expectations.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
  • Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and periodic odd hours when needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years of related work experience.
