Position Description

This person will be dedicated to managing, developing, and optimizing a brand or company's presence on social media platforms. This role is crucial in an organization's digital marketing and communication strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Platform Knowledge: Must be familiar with major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, among others, and understand how their algorithms, tools, and best practices work.

2. Content Strategy: Ability to develop and execute attractive and coherent content strategies that align with brand objectives. This includes content creation, post scheduling, and content calendar management.

3. Creativity: Ability to create engaging visual and textual content that fosters interaction and growth of the online community.

4. Data Analysis: Competence in using analytics and metrics tools (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to evaluate campaign performance, understand consumer behavior, and make data-driven adjustments.

5. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with the audience and manage the brand's online reputation.

6. Community Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with the online community, managing comments, direct messages, and fostering follower participation and loyalty.

7. Advertising Knowledge: Experience in managing paid social media advertising campaigns and knowledge of targeting and ad optimization options.

8. Digital Trends: Staying updated on the latest trends, innovations, and changes in the digital and social media landscape.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • Academic Background: Generally, a bachelor's degree or license in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is required.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in digital marketing, communication, or social media-related roles is commonly expected.

  • Developing Social Media Strategies: Collaborate with marketing teams to define specific objectives and tactics for each platform.
