The Software Technologist I will participate in the full software development lifecycle, challenging requirements and designs, and leading technical aspects within the team. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, conducting code reviews, supporting DevOps, resolving defects, and creating technical documentation. The role requires applying agile methods and staying updated with new technologies.

  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to explore and rapid prototype.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering/science field.
Good to have:
  • Gen AI background – LLMs, prompt engineering.
  • Experience in healthcare domain.

Job Description

Software Technologist I

Analyses, designs, tests, codes, secures, debugs, modifies, deploys, integrates and maintains (system) software enhancements, test environment and/or new software. Uses state-of-the-art technologies and practices. Interacts with users / product owners to define / adjust requirements and/or necessary modifications. Keeps abreast of technical developments and practices in own field through literature, courses/trainings, technical contacts, and competitive environment. Applies agile software development methods as a member of agile teams.

Your Role:

  • Participates in full software development processes, working with broader autonomy and in pairing mode with other software team members, challenging requirements, design, and quality.
  • Serves as a recognized technical expert in specific areas within the team, leading the creation of software designs and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Takes on moderately complex software development tasks, collaborating with senior team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration, and system tests, to ensure software reliability, performance, and adherence to specifications.
  • Conducts thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify potential bugs, and promote best practices in software development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality code.
  • Supports DevOps in deploying software, setting, monitoring, and ensuring own performance metrics are met, while also defining, monitoring, and meeting broader performance and quality metrics.
  • Diagnoses and resolves software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and implementing effective fixes to enhance software reliability and performance.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.
  • Keeps abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development to continuously improve skill sets and apply innovative solutions.
  • Applies analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests efficiently, exercising judgment within defined procedures/practices to determine appropriate action.

You are fit if:

  • 5-8 years of experience in software Development. Hands on coding and design background.
  • Proficient in C++ technology development
  • Proven solid hands-on experience in AI tools - CoPilot practitioner experience ex: GitHub CoPilot in the SDLC process
  • Desirable to have Gen AI background – LLMs, prompt engineering.
  • Passionate to automate.
  • Build, maintain and enhance pipelines – CI & CD.
  • Ability to explore and rapid prototyping through effective collaboration across geographies
  • A continuous learner, CURIOUS and goal oriented
  • Experience is healthcare domain preferred
  • At least a Bachelor degree in Electronics, SW Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office-based role.
