Trend Micro is a global cybersecurity leader protecting digital information. This Senior Payroll Administrator position is located at the Head Office in Irving, Texas, with a hybrid work model (3 days in office). The role involves performing payroll accounting, making payroll entries, maintaining employee payroll files, and accurately processing US payrolls. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of independent research in complex situations.
Must have:
  • Perform payroll accounting, make payroll entries, and maintain employee payroll files
  • Process US payrolls with utmost accuracy
  • Take care of payroll related GL entries & monthly payroll account reconciliation
  • Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans
  • Collaborate with HR team on process improvement
  • Address payroll inquires from employees in a timely manner
  • Reconcile payroll data for ADP processing
  • Perform payroll calculation, W4 changes, deductions, and withholdings
  • Process timesheets, PTO, and leave of absences for employees
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates
  • Ensure payroll processing is in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Calculate wages for gross up purposes and overtime earnings
  • Conduct payroll related audits & ad hoc projects
Good to have:
  • Canada Payroll Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Experience with ADP WFN is desired

Location: This position is located at our Head Office in Irving, Texas. It is a hybrid position with the requirement to be in office 3 days per week.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our fast-paced North America's Payroll team. This position's prime responsibility is to perform payroll accounting, make payroll entries, and maintain employee payroll files and process US payrolls with utmost accuracy. The ideal candidate will have analytical & problem-solving skills, doing independent research in complex situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking care of payroll related GL entries & monthly payroll account reconciliation.
  • Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans.
  • Collaborate with HR team on process improvement.
  • Address payroll inquires from employees in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile payroll data for ADP processing.
  • Perform payroll calculation, W4 changes, deductions, and withholdings.
  • Process timesheets, PTO, and leave of absences for employees.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Ensure payroll processing is in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Calculate wages for gross up purposes and overtime earnings.
  • Conduct payroll related audits & ad hoc projects.
  • Good to have Canada Payroll Knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Trustworthy with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with ADP WFN is desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Have an eye for details and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skill, working in a team; good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible/defined schedules based on payroll needs.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities and acts independently to ensure quality work is completed timely.
  • Excellent work ethic and high integrity in managing confidential employee data.
