Job Description
Limit Break seeks a Senior Frontend (Webapp) Engineer to join its team. As a founding member of the engineering team, you will significantly influence best practices, team culture, and processes. This role offers autonomy to shape engineering within blockchain technologies, impacting millions of users. Responsibilities include crafting maintainable and performant code, prioritizing accessibility, solving problems with simple solutions, staying current with frontend technologies, and collaborating with domain and QA teams for stable application releases.
Must have:
- 3-5 years experience
- Bachelors in Computer Science
- Bilingual (English and Japanese)
- HTML, CSS, WebSockets
- Advanced JavaScript
- React/Redux, Vue, or Angular experience
- Testing experience (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Web standards knowledge
- Cross-browser development
- TypeScript or Flow experience
Good to have:
- Electron, Node.js knowledge
- Functional programming
- Blockchain experience
- Large Greenfield project experience

About the Role:
Limit Break is looking for Frontend (Webapp)Engineers to join our team. As a first addition to the Limit Break engineering team, you will have the autonomy to influence our best practices, team and processes, and to create a truly customer-driven culture from the ground up. Requirements: Who you are and what you’ve done
-3-5 years experience Bachelors in Computer Science (or similar) and minimum
-Bi-Lingual (English and Japanese)
-3 years of relevant work experience
-Experience HTML, CSS and Web sockets
-Advanced JavaScript knowledge
-Experience using frameworks and patterns in large JavaScript applications (like React / Redux, Vue, Angular or similar)
-Experience writing tests (unit-, integration- and end-to-end)
-Experience with and knowledge of web standards
-Cross-browser development and debugging skills
-Experience with type systems in JavaScript (TypeScript, Flow)
-Knowledge about Electron, Node.js and functional programming beneficial
-Excellent written and verbal English as English is our company language
A Plus:
-Prior blockchain experience Worked on a large Greenfields project(s)
