As a Technical Program Manager, you will join the Global Financial Systems within the Enterprise Technology organization. You will be supporting end-to-end projects using agile methods, including capacity planning, tracking, running planning sessions, prioritizing, communicating & managing business stakeholders, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. This role requires facilitating decisions and deliverables, managing vendor relationships, driving Change Review meetings, and facilitating scrum events. The role also involves driving best practices, improving efficiency, engaging cross-functional teams, developing project plans, tracking progress, and effectively managing multiple projects.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Superior stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • 5+ years of experience as a scrum master.
  • 5+ years of ERP experience.
Good to have:
  • Experience with SAP system.
  • Experience leading software teams.

Role Summary

As a Technical Program Manager, you will join the Global Financial Systems within the Enterprise Technology organization. You will be supporting end-to-end projects using agile methods which also includes capacity planning, tracking, running planning sessions, prioritizing, communicating & managing business stakeholders as well as coordinating with cross functional teams. This position will report to our Staff Technical Program Manager and will be located in either Normal, IL or Plymouth, MI

Relocation to either Normal or Plymouth is mandatory.


Responsibilities

  • Support teams of highly functional experts and motivated engineers to effectively deliver organizational goals.
  • Facilitate high quality decisions and deliverables timely.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships.
  • Drive Change Review meetings with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate all scrum events (intake process, backlog grooming, planning sessions, facilitating prioritization with business owners, capacity planning, cross functional collaboration, etc.).
  • Drive towards adopting best practices, improving efficiency to help teams succeed.
  • Engage with cross-functional and cross-domain teams to resolve issues, identify and deliver priorities.
  • Coordinate with the teams to develop project plans, goals and milestones.
  • Partner closely with GFS team and other business stakeholders to drive complex initiatives from conception to delivery.
  • Track milestones, progress, dependencies, and identify issues closely while communicating effectively to leadership and stakeholders and work with them to mitigate risks.
  • Help teams get to the project finish line collaboratively.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously by effectively managing prioritization of time, resource and scope.
  • Manage software development, schedule, and roadmap in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Break down large concepts into realizable deliverables and work with team members to distribute tasks and execute against the plan.
  • Evaluate and adjust priorities as issues arise.

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of project management experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Superior stakeholder management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • 5+ yrs. of experience as a scrum master, should be a certified SCRUM master.
  • 5+yrs. of ERP experience is a must.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/scrum methodologies and related tools
  • Demonstrated ability to keep things moving and see the big picture.
  • Experience in rapidly growing businesses that have expanded globally.
  • Experience in cross functional collaboration and taking products from concept to market.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, ambiguity, and time constraints.
  • Ability to define major aspects of schedule and determine critical path.
  • A genuine love of brands that are focused on positive impact.
  • Background in automotive, energy, or similar technical industry
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP system and experience leading software teams (nice to have)
 

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range: $111,000 - $138,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

 

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
