Storage Administrator (Powerflex)
Job Summary
Job Description
The Storage Administrator (Powerflex) will be responsible for managing and maintaining software-defined storage technologies, with a focus on Powerflex architecture (Rack & Appliance). The role requires experience in implementing and upgrading VMware vCenter, ESXi, and networking switches (Cisco & Dell). Proficiency in Cisco Nexus switch families like Nexus 3K & 9K is essential. While not mandatory, knowledge of NSX & ACI is considered desirable. This role involves ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of storage infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the overall storage strategy. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of storage concepts and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must have:
- Strong understanding of software-defined storage technology.
- Strong experience with Powerflex Architecture (Rack & Appliance).
- Experience implementing/upgrading VMware vCenter, ESXi & networking switches (Cisco & Dell).
- Experience in Cisco Nexus family of switches like Nexus 3K & 9K.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of NSX & ACI is good to have.
