Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to improve lives by developing and selling new holistic solutions and services in medical technology, going beyond mere sales or financing of medical devices. The role involves business development, including creating and refining solution concepts, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring knowledge transfer. It also includes offering development, identifying client needs, leading international expert teams, and being responsible for the quality and timely creation of offers and contracts.
Must Have:
  • Develop and refine holistic solution concepts for medical technology.
  • Lead international expert teams for customer-specific solution concepts.
  • Ensure quality and timely creation of offers and contracts.
  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or similar.
  • Several years of experience in DACH healthcare systems.
  • Project management experience in complex multimodality solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of DACH healthcare, radiology, cardiology, intensive care.
  • In-depth market and product knowledge of Philips Solutions.
  • Experience with Design Thinking, Lean, Agile methodologies.
  • Very good business administration knowledge.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

The LSP division develops and sells new holistic solutions and services in the field of medical technology that go far beyond a mere sale or financing of medical devices (cross-BU projects, operator models, general contractor approaches, risk-sharing concepts).

The services and solutions of the LSP division differ from existing business models due to their very high complexity, the integration of multi-vendor medical technology and/or construction components, and the novelty of the offering.

You are responsible for

Business Development:

  • Development/further development of solution concepts
  • Assessment and prioritization of opportunities
  • Development of integrated solution concepts with special consideration of concrete customer benefits
  • Ensuring continuous knowledge transfer between the market and the global solution teams and Business Groups
  • Standardization of solution concepts and measures for quality improvement of the process

Additionally at the CoE-Level:

  • Coaching/mentoring in individual trainings or via SBA Community
  • Support in conducting trainings and using material from Philips University
  • Evaluation of processes, conducting lessons learned, establishing feedback processes
  • Optimization of the solution process
  • Development and optimization of innovative business models

Offer Development:

  • Determining the needs of our clients together with the consulting team of Philips Healthcare Transformation Services
  • Leading international teams of experts (internal and external) to create customer-specific solution concepts
  • Actively shaping the dialogue with the customer during the offer phase
  • Responsibility for the quality and timely creation of offer content as well as the drafting of a contract that adequately reflects the solution concept and the business model

With a high customer orientation and the following knowledge and experience, you will be successful in this position

  • Structured approach, reliability, communication and presentation skills as well as efficient working methods, teamwork in an open-minded atmosphere
  • Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, medical technology, computer science, technology or comparable training
  • Several years of experience in healthcare and healthcare systems in DACH, ideally also on the client side (project management large projects) and knowledge in radiology, cardiology, intensive care
  • Project management experience in complex multimodality solutions as well as support for complex projects with first-of-a-kind character
  • Excellent knowledge of healthcare systems in DACH as well as processes in radiology, cardiology, intensive care
  • In-depth market and broad product knowledge across the entire Philips portfolio, especially Solutions
  • Very good experience/knowledge in the Solutions Business, ideally also with regard to digital solutions
  • Experience in applying methods such as Design Thinking (Co-Creation), Lean, Agile, ideally with certification
  • Very good business administration knowledge
  • Very high customer orientation as well as good communication skills both internally and with customers, written and oral
  • Very good German and English language skills, written and spoken
