The Subject Matter Expert - Wireless Network Engineer is responsible for the entire network lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization. This role involves providing support for complex network upgrades and migrations, performing root cause analysis, and developing detailed designs and migration strategies. Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in networking and security, with expertise in enterprise networking, security protocols, network architecture, datacenter builds, and various networking technologies from vendors like Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and FortiGate. Strong knowledge of public clouds (Azure, AWS) and network automation is also required.
Must Have:- Responsible for the network lifecycle - Network Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation and Optimization
- Provide support for highly complex Network Upgrades and Network Migration activities
- Perform root cause analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems
- Understand customer's business goals and how the network operations support those business goals
- Possess detailed knowledge of customer's network
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their deployment across the organization
- Act as the main focal point for highly complex network problem resolution
- Develop and document detailed designs, and technology migration strategies/integration plans
- Overall 12+ years of experience in Networking and Security
- Expertise in Enterprise Networking and security (Routing, Wireless and Switching protocols, network architecture, connectivity options, network management, remote access, data security, standards and compliance, identity management, log management etc.)
- Experience in Designing and Architecture of complex networks
- Knowledge of Datacenter (Tier 3 / 3+ DC build including power & cooling) access control and building management system
- Extensive experience with Juniper MX series, Cisco routers (6500, 6800, 7600), Cisco catalyst switches (6500, 4000), Nexus (9K, 7K, 5K, 2K)
- Experience with Cisco / Aruba Wireless technologies
- Proficiency with Load balancers - F5 Big-IP
- Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate Firewalls
- Strong working Knowledge on Public Clouds like Azure, AWS
- Ability to leverage Network Automation tools and scripts to automate most of repetitive tasks
- Good level of understanding on the virtualization concepts
- Ensure delivery of the infrastructure solutions designed as per scope & project timelines
- Expert level Internetworking Troubleshooting experience
