Job Description

At Iron Mountain, our Imaging Production Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day projects within the Imaging Center. They resolve issues, adhere to department standards, monitor timelines and results, and coach and train direct reports. This role involves providing daily direction to employees, assisting in invoicing, managing project timelines, leading and mentoring teams, and resolving customer issues, all while ensuring production goals are met in an onsite environment.
Must have:
  • Provide daily direction to employees for multiple projects
  • Assist in the invoicing process
  • Time keeping of direct reports, attendance tracking and accountability
  • Manage project timelines including scoping incoming work, creating job instructions, training team members, managing quality and outcome of Customers orders, and extensive reconciliation
  • Lead, mentor, cross train and provide accountable standards and measures to department employees, including coaching through HR workflows and monitoring production systems
  • Staffing and planning for team
  • Research and resolve customer issues, modify work procedures as needed to meet customer demand
  • Review production reporting daily, weekly, monthly and support Operations Manager with data analysis
  • Understanding of the imaging processes
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong technical background and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated basic billing knowledge
  • Strong computer skills with both Windows and Mac
  • Supervisory experience leading and directing teams of 15 - 30 members, in an Imaging / Scanning / Digitizing environment
  • Good communication skills to communicate effectively with internal teams/staff, as well as, external parties
  • Ability to move pallets, boxes, carts, and stand for long periods of time to support operations or work alongside team members
  • Able to reach above head, lift and move files as required
  • Lifting, moving, pushing and pulling equipment, cases, metal containers, or boxes in excess of 10-50 lbs frequently
Good to have:
  • 2 years college education
  • 2-4 years of preferred experience
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycles

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Compensation: $62k / annually + benefits
  • 2nd Shift (M - F): 2:30pm - 11pm (approximately)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily direction to employees in order to accomplish multiple projects.
  • Ability to assist in the invoicing process.
  • Time keeping of direct reports, as well as, attendance tracking and accountability.
  • Manage project timelines including scoping incoming work, creating job instructions, training team members, managing quality and outcome of Customers orders, which includes extensive reconciliation.
  • Lead, mentor, cross train and provide accountable standards and measures to the department employees. This will include coaching through HR workflows and monitoring several production systems for your department.

Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Understanding of the imaging processes, demonstrated leadership skills with strong technical background and organizational skills. Demonstrated basic billing knowledge. This position requires strong computer skills with both Windows and Mac.

This is 100% onsite and may require longer days or weekends – depending on production needs and timelines.

Business Expertise:

Basic understanding of project lifecycles.

Leadership:

Instrumental in driving production through the Imaging Center personnel by leading and mentoring the imaging personnel. Supervisory experience leading and directing teams of 15 - 30 members, in an Imaging / Scanning / Digitizing environment.

Interpersonal Skills:

This position is required to be an onsite position to work alongside your production team members.It may require some additional time in your day in order to meet/resolve internal/external goals/timelines. The position also requires good communication skills to communicate effectively with internal teams/staff, as well as, external parties. There will be interaction with multiple areas of Iron Mountain with greater focus on local market communication. External communication may consist of infrequent Customer visits, written and verbal communication.

Education:

Preferred Education/Preferred Experience: 2 years college/2 – 4 Years

Physical Requirements (lifting/standing/sitting):

  • Due to the nature of the program, the Imaging Operations Supervisor will also need to be able to move pallets, boxes, carts, and stand for long periods of time to support the operations or work alongside team members.
