Job Description

This role is for a Supply Analyst in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, requiring 4-6 years of experience in material and equipment acquisition for the Construction and Assembly industry. Key responsibilities include providing input for material specifications, analyzing project documentation, managing material reservations in SAP, tracking supply processes, and handling decentralized purchases. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence three times a week in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
Must have:
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in material and equipment acquisition for the Construction and Assembly industry.
  • Intermediate Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in MS Project, SAP System, Project Management Software, and Business Intelligence (BI) Tools.
  • Technical degree in Management and Business, Industrial Control and Processes, or Industrial Production.
  • Provide inputs for material and equipment specification for service execution.
  • Analyze project documentation, engineering flowcharts, and data sheets.
  • Analyze material minutes provided by the construction and assembly company.
  • Diligence technical opinions on materials and request creation of material numbers (NM).
  • Generate supply reports and controls, reporting possible delays in material receipt.
  • Create and monitor material reservations in SAP or other tools within project schedule.
  • Move materials between stocks and to the sites of contracted companies.
  • Research material stocks and alternative materials.
  • Assist in preparing the Supply Plan and update material control tools.
  • Diligence the purchasing process from reservation creation to material delivery.
  • Include and update material minutes of delineations in project management tools.
  • Perform market price inquiries, generate quotation maps, issue orders, and diligence acquisition process for decentralized purchases.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in material and equipment acquisition for the Construction and Assembly industry;
  • Intermediate Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • MS Project;
  • SAP System;
  • Project Management Software;
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Tools.

EDUCATION

  • Level of Education: Technical degree in Management and Business, Industrial Control and Processes, or Industrial Production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide inputs for material and equipment specification for service execution;
  • Analyze project documentation, engineering flowcharts, and data sheets;
  • Analyze material minutes provided by the construction and assembly company;
  • Diligence technical opinions on materials;
  • Request creation of material numbers (NM);
  • Generate supply reports and controls;
  • Report possible delays in material receipt to project planning and coordination;
  • Create material reservations in the SAP system or other available tool, within the deadline established by the project schedule;
  • Monitor the project material supply process in the SAP system or other available tool for activity execution;
  • Move materials between stocks and to the sites of contracted companies;
  • Research material stocks in the SAP system or other available tool;
  • Research alternative materials;
  • Assist in preparing the Supply Plan;
  • Enter data and update the material control spreadsheet or tool;
  • Diligence the purchasing process from reservation creation to material delivery;
  • Include and update the material minutes of the delineations in the project management tools;
  • Perform market price inquiries, generate quotation maps, issue orders, and diligence the acquisition process up to supplier payment, for decentralized purchases of project-associated materials.
