Job Description
Aptiv is seeking a Team Leader - Manufacturing to manage manpower, plan production, and ensure quality in a W/H manufacturing environment. The role involves continuous improvement initiatives, team training, and problem-solving on the shop floor. Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience and strong communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi.
Must have:
- Manpower handling and allocation for each stage
- Production planning monthly, weekly, and daily as per customer requirements
- Control over production and quality aspects
- Material planning to avoid line stoppages
- Continuous improvement in line balancing, error proofing, productivity, quality, downtime reduction, and rejection control
- Leading, training, and motivating the production team
- Conducting Quality Circle Meetings for major quality issues
- On-job training for new employees
- Encouraging and involving people to work safely
- Resolving work-related problems and supporting a congenial work atmosphere

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manpower Handling and allocation for each stage
- Production planning monthly, weekly and daily as per customer requirements
- Entire control in the aspect of production and Quality.
- Material planning as per production plan to avoid line stoppages.
- Continuous improvement in terms of line balancing, error proofing, productivity, quality, down time reduction and rejection control.
- Heading, Training, Motivating the Production team and thereby ensuring
- Conducting Quality Circle Meeting for Major Quality Issues.
- On job training for new peoples
- Encourage & involve people to work safely
- Resolve all work-related problems & support a congenial work atmosphere on the shop floor.
Education and Qualification :
Diploma /B.E. - Mechanical/Electrical
Min 3 – 6 years’ experience in W/H manufacturing Industry
Should know to communicate in English/Kannada/Hindi
