Become part of a community of engineers who are committed to enhance state-of-the-art 77GHz RFCMOS automotive radar products. As Senior Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled Radar System validation experts focusing on System Application and Lab validation of 77GHz RFCMOS automotive radar products. You will shape the future of our customer’s experience and the system level applications strategy for our next generation automotive radar product portfolio.
Must have:
  • Lead a team of >15 engineers (system architects, project managers, lab engineers for system level validation incl. antenna, boards, IC and SW, FUSA validation)
  • Define a team scope and vision, aligned with company goals, inspire collaboration with other teams/stakeholders
  • Manage the lab infrastructure, including lab budgets/lab audits
  • Manage career development and performance reviews
  • Manage resources allocations and staffing for all activities, define roles and responsibilities in the team that best serves NXP's automotive Radar Roadmap
  • Grow competence of entire team continuously, striving for top-notch system expertise, organizing trainings and coaching, individual development plans
  • Establish strong relationships within the x-functional project team/functional leads and stakeholders such as software/customer application support/design etc.
  • Shape customer enablement and support incl. HW and SW packages, development of collaterals and documentation
  • Lead HW development of customer-, validation-, reference- and demo boards
  • Drive methodology, automation and infrastructure for higher quality, shorter time to market and cost efficiency
Good to have:
  • Experience in mmWave hardware development
  • Experience in development of automotive radar MMICs/OneChips or Radar Modules

Your responsibilities

As Senior Manager, you will lead a team of highly skilled Radar System validation experts focusing on System Application and Lab validation of 77GHz RFCMOS automotive radar products. Your profile

We are looking for a natural leader, experienced and highly skilled people manager with the ability to define new structures and developing a growing organization to the next level.

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical engineering, Physics or equivilant
  • Proven leadership experience in developing technical teams
  • Experience in mmWave hardware development preferred
  • Lab validation management experience including lab audits/lab budgets/lab infrastructure
  • Experience in development of automotive radar MMICs/OneChips or Radar Modules preferred
  • Ability to network across the company, work effectively across geographics in a highly dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
