As Teamleader Reman, you are responsible for the practical organization and follow-up of your team, which is responsible for the inspection and repairs of parts for, among other things, forklifts, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and small earthmoving machines. You lead a team of about twenty employees, mainly experienced mechanics and technicians (A2 to bachelor).
By collaborating with fellow team leaders, the Operations Manager, and the Technical Manager, you ensure higher quality and efficiency in the processing of parts. You also take an active role in improvement projects that contribute to the growth of the department.
Your priority is leading your team: you monitor them, adjust where necessary, and optimally deploy employees based on their competencies. You coach and guide your team members, develop training plans (both technical and personal development), organize performance reviews, and identify training needs. You are also responsible for the recruitment and selection of new colleagues and monitor the disciplinary policy.
You organize weekly 'pit stops' and monthly team meetings to optimize progress and collaboration. In addition, you are responsible for safety, order, and cleanliness in your department and set an example in this regard.
For your department, you are the technical point of contact and liaison to the Technical Manager. You analyze technical problems, contribute to solutions, and support R&D and quality projects. You are ultimately responsible for assessing technical or economic repairability, pricing repairs (including margin), and monitoring repair costs.
You also have an important process responsibility:
