Job Description

This role is responsible for enabling business outcomes for customers in complex and strategic accounts by establishing a trusted advisor relationship. It involves balancing technology and business objectives of IMS solutions within the Broadcom portfolio, maximizing product adoption, improving customer success, and maintaining renewal rates to ensure future growth. Key activities include identifying and removing technical barriers for sales, demonstrating product features, and driving customer success through partnerships.
Must have:
  • Work closely with Broadcom sales teams to identify and remove technical barriers.
  • Demonstrate, differentiate, and position product features, functions, and best practices.
  • Drive customer success by partnering with internal and external organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to train Broadcom or partner technical teams.
  • Possess technical and/or business knowledge across Broadcom Solutions and platforms (IAM, API, ITOM).
  • Ability to understand and influence solutions to meet large customer use cases.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of related experience required.
Good to have:
  • Previous Sales, Systems Engineering, or professional services consulting experience.
  • Strong ability to effectively link technology solutions to business needs.
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of personas in customer environments.
  • Knowledge of various cloud architectures and use cases (AWS, Azure & GCP).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Demonstrable experience and success in driving business solutions in large complex heterogeneous accounts.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally, in written and graphic formats.
  • Industry security certifications (CISSP, CCSK, etc.) and Symantec certifications (SEP, EDR & SEPM) are a plus.

Job Details

Responsible for enabling business outcomes for customers in complex and/or strategic accounts by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, balancing both the technology and business objectives of the IMS solutions and products within the Broadcom portfolio. Key activities include maximizing product adoption, improving customer success and maintaining renewal rates to ensure future growth opportunities.

  • Work closely with Broadcom sales teams to help identify and remove technical barriers needed to achieve Identity Management and/or API Security sales outcomes
  • Demonstrate, differentiate and position product features, functions and best practices via customer interactions, demos, proof of concept (POC) and product health checks to influence customer renewal decisions
  • Drive customer success by partnering with a number of internal and external organizations including technical support teams, product management teams, sales teams, partners and more
  • Identify opportunities to train Broadcom or partner technical teams on specific value propositions, competitive differentiation and best practices to help them position IMS solutions
  • Technical and/or business knowledge across one or more of the Broadcom Solutions and platforms:
  • IAM - Symantec VIP, SiteMinder, PAM
  • API - Layer7 API Gateway
  • ITOM - DX02, DX APM, DX UIM
  • Ability to understand and influence these solutions to meet large customer (Fortune 1000) use cases – primarily in a “proof of value” pre-sales context
  • Previous Sales, Systems Engineering or professional services consulting experience with enterprise products preferred
  • Strong ability to effectively link technology solutions to business needs
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of personas in customer environments
  • Knowledge of various cloud architectures and use cases (e.g., AWS, Azure & GCP)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Demonstrable experience and success in driving business solutions in large complex heterogeneous accounts
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally, in written and graphic formats
  • Additional technical skills and certifications
  • Industry security certifications (CISSP, CCSK, etc.) and Symantec certifications (SEP, EDR & SEPM) are a plus
  • Bachelor's + 12+ years of related experience required

  • Oauth and Open ID Connect
  • Monitoring and Observability software
  • Mobile App security
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
  • Familiar with ssl /pki security
  • JWT, SAML, based authentication
