Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the game development industry.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of game design, development processes, and technical constraints.
  • Expertise in C++ and Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects from concept to completion.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).

Main task pool:

  • Oversee all technical aspects and technological resources of the product.
  • Establish the product’s technical vision and lead all aspects of the product’s technological development.
  • Direct strategic planning, development, and implementation of product using Unreal Engine.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of talented developers, ensuring high performance, productivity, and alignment with the product’s goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions that enhance productivity and performance.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, high-performance, and immersive gaming experiences.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the product remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Manage and optimize the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with other game engines (e.g., Unity).
  • Experience in multiplayer game development.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and online services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Background in AI and machine learning as applied to game development.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or game development communities.
  • Published titles demonstrating technical prowess and creativity.
  • Understanding of mobile and console game development.
  • Advanced mathematics or physics knowledge applicable to game development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation.
